Job Description:**

The Product Management Analyst is an important member of the iDefense Product Management team whose primary responsibilities are product requirements coordination and planning throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, identifying market trends, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

In this position, you are generally responsible for researching, understanding, and communicating the needs of the end-user to the product manager and eventually throughout the entire business. This communication is an important link with the product engineering team who will use it to enhance and improve the product. The successful candidate is business savvy, can understand the nuances of complicated business algorithms and practices, and has technical depth such that he / she can express that business knowledge in a form for use by engineers.

The Product Management Analyst helps align product launch activities with marketing activities. This is achieved through the furnishing of the sales team with competitor analysis, market analysis, business performance analysis, and other research information. In this capacity, you also ensure that the product literature is accurate and relevant.

**Key Responsibilities May Include:**

o Interact with customers and partners to discover and describe market requirements and strategy

o Develop and manage product documentation portfolio

o Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients

o Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service

o Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients

o Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting multiple, concurrent deadlines

o Keep records of client transactions

o Some travel required (15%)


**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Degree or equivalent program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Security, Information Security, Information Technology, or Mathematics (or equivalent work experience)

+ Excellent analytical and data management skills Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

+ Capacity for leadership ability and ability to positively influencing cross-functional team members

+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills

+ Positive Demeanor **Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Work Experience with software or service requirements development

+ Excellent presentation work experience

+ Experience in the cyber security domain
