DESCRIPTION


Performs applicant information searches in various confidential criminal databases. Main duties include, but are not limited to, answering a high-call volume multi-line telephone, filing, open and sort mail, and preparing letters of response to applicants and their representatives. Performs additional clerical functions as needed.





EXAMPLES OF WORK



+ Responds to letter correspondence regarding inquiries for all types of clemency from applicants and interested parties.


+ Criminal databases. Perform applicant information searches in various confidential databases.


+ Provides callers with information pertaining to clemency.


+ May be asked to participate in in-house staff review of policy and procedures affecting your particular job tasks and contribute to revisions for a more efficient work environment.


+ Assist Coordinator and staff as needed.
